To deliver and secure the website, IONOS processes IP addresses, access times, requested pages, browser and device details, and transmitted referrer information. The basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is secure operation. The website cannot be accessed without connection data.

IONOS states that visitor data are anonymised on collection and stored for eight weeks. Its standard WebAnalytics service provides statistical analysis and technical optimisation; according to the provider, IP addresses are anonymised immediately after transmission. Where personal data are processed, the basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is technical optimisation.

Contact details and information from email or telephone enquiries are processed to handle the enquiry. Recipients may include the email and telephone service providers used. The basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract-related enquiries, otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR based on the legitimate interest in responding.

Providing information is voluntary; an enquiry cannot be handled without the necessary details. Data are deleted when no longer needed, unless statutory retention duties or legal claims require further storage.
